Although the removal date for the footbridge is set for March 2019, the details of the project plan will be set down in mid-November 2018 by Network Rail. Whilst they are willing to consider FAS plans for saving the footbridge, Network Rail now require FAS to provide the structural engineering data and costings, commissioned from professionals at our own expense.

The timescale is very short and money is tight, so we are up against it. If you can help us financially, please can you either give via our Just Giving crowdfunding page or directly by cheque or bank transfer. We can reveal that one very generous donor has given us £10k and another gave £500 via the Just Giving page, as well as many others giving smaller sums. However, we need more to finance the cost of engaging engineers and quantity surveyors. The fuller story is on our Campaign Page, along with things you can do to help.
